Why variable speed matters

Standard vacuum pumps use most of the motor power bringing the system down to vacuum. The Kaishan control then uses the available motor power to increase full-load flow — more flow for the same motor power — and can start and stop under full vacuum without blowdown, which avoids a peak demand penalty at start-up.
